Carberry students raise $500 for Sick Kids Hospital and Foundation
Throughout the month of December, grade 4 students at Carberry Public School sold candy cane grams in order to raise money for Sick Kids Hospital. They volunteered their nutrition breaks, helped to sort and organize the special messages for students, and sang jingles to encourage their peers to purchase candy canes. All of the candy canes were donated by Wal-mart and Zehrs Orangeville. During the two weeks of sales, students raised a total of $500 for the Sick Kids Foundation. Way to go, Carberry Cougars!
