Shaw Public School makes a difference during the holiday season

Staff and students have been busy making a difference in their community during the month of December. Students in grade 6 collected over 800 non-perishable items for a Brampton food bank. Meanwhile, grade 8 students, under the supervision of a grade 1 teacher, raised a total of $631.60 for the United Way of Peel Region through candy cane and cookie sales. The Interact Club is also encouraging students to bring in winter hats, mittens and gloves to donate to the Salvation Army. We are proud of our students for the positive difference they are making and their generous hearts.
