Caledon Central P.S. staff and students commemorate Remembrance Day
Caledon Central Public School staff and students will be having their Remembrance Day assembly today. The assembly will begin with a “colour party” procession, including Cadets, Girl Guides, Brownies, and Scouts, led by a bagpipe player. Students in kindergarten to grade 8 will share songs, tableaus, a wreath presentation, videos, as well as a bilingual recitation of Flander’s Fields before sharing a moment of silence to honour fallen soldiers and Canadian veterans. Throughout the day, students will also discuss the significance of Remembrance Day in their classes. Many thanks to teachers Mrs. Gane and Mme. Pritchard for organizing our Remembrance Day activities.
