Edenwood students build outdoor learning space for school community

As the Peel community enjoys the last few weeks of warm weather before winter, staff and students at Edenwood Middle School in Mississauga are reaping the benefits of their hard work and collaboration in the outdoor learning space that they built from the ground up this fall.

James Riske, grade 8 teacher at Edenwood, spearheaded the project by submitting a proposal for the PDSB Community Connected Experiential Learning Grant (PDSB-CCEL). The grant seeks to support schools in developing innovative community-connected experiential learning opportunities that promote student achievement, student engagement and well-being.​
