Peel students publish academic journal in collaboration with university professors

Students from Cawthra ParkStephen LewisThe Woodlands secondary schools and Peel Alternative School South collaborated to publish a third youth issue of the Journal for Activist Science and Technology Education (JASTE) . Student contributors focused on investigating real-world issues and applying the science and technology curriculum in an action-oriented manner, tackling topics such as classroom noise and its impacts on learning, the use of squalene in the cosmetic industry, designing and 3D printing more eco-friendly athletic shoes, and more.​
