Peel board adult learners earn high school diplomas at graduation ceremony

Nearly 200 Peel District School Board adult education students will receive their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) at the Adult Education Graduation Ceremony on June 22. The event will celebrate students who have completed the necessary requirements for their high school diploma. A number of students will also receive their TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification.
“Graduation is a significant milestone for our adult learners and we are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication,” says Stacy Wilson, principal of Continuing and Adult Education at the Peel board. “This is an opportunity to celebrate their success as they transition into post-secondary studies and the workplace.”

The Peel board’s Continuing and Adult Education department offers a number of programs aimed at helping students aged 18 and over to further their educational, language, career and personal goals. For more information about the programs offered, visit www.peelschools.org/adulteducation.
