Clarkson Secondary School sets new fundraising record during 14th annual 'Cancer Drive for Camp Oochigeas'
Clarkson Secondary School staff and students raised over $43,000 for their 14th annual Cancer Drive for Camp Oochigeas, surpassing last year’s record of $30,000. All proceeds will support Camp Oochigeas, a camp which provides an active, outdoor experience for children with cancer. Students and staff took part in fun activities and games including head, beard and leg shaving, ponytail cutting, pie in the face contest, tricycle races and a mud run. Clarkson has held their cancer drive for the past 40 years and has supported Camp Oochigeas for the past 14 years.
