Keep us informed if your child tests positive for COVID-19 over the Winter Break

As we head into the Winter Break, it is critical that we all adhere to public health measures and keep celebrations and gatherings to our immediate households. Peel Public Health has shared this letter from Medical Officer of Health Dr. Loh with important reminders and tips to stay safe over the holiday season.

Let us know if your child tests positive over the Winter Break

While schools are closed for the break, we ask families of students who attend school in person to keep us informed if their child tests positive for COVID-19. Please complete our COVID-19 Reporting Form as soon as possible after receiving the test results. This will allow us to make the necessary health and safety precautions at your child's school and assist Peel Public Health in their investigation to limit spread of the virus in our school communities. If necessary, a member of the COVID response team or your school administrator may contact you.

As always, you should also follow the advice provided by Peel Public Health to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and keep you and your family safe.
