2014-15 Annual Report

you inspire.jpg

At the Peel District School Board, everything we do is designed to help all students achieve to the best of their ability. We inspire success, confidence, and hope in each child. Our collective, daily efforts make a positive difference in the lives of our students, their families and the world. Guided by our mission, vision and values, we build positive places for learning and working...together.

83 per cent of first-time test-takers pass literacy test, pass rate stable

Peel board's EQAO results from the 2014-15 school year.

Strategic plans turns goals into action

The Report Card for Student Success is the strategic plan for the Peel board, based on a proven, research-based methodology. Its power is in using data to transform our strategic plan into action. It demonstrates the cause-and-effect relationship between our actions and what we're trying to achieve. It helps us answer the question--is what we are doing having a direct impact on what we are trying to achieve? The Report Card for Student Success shows us whether our actions are having an impact, because each goal clearly sets out targets for improvement.

Graduation rates

The Peel board calculated five-year graduation rate for the 2013-14 school year is 90 per cent. The graduation rate has climbed for the last seven years, from 79 per cent in 2006-07.
