Peel board's exciting online application centre for teachers, teaching assistants, secretarial/clerical and Continuing Education positions
The Peel District School Board hires all teachers, teaching assistants and secretarial/clerical staff directly via the Internet – Virtually in Peel – VIP for short. It's free of charge and anyone interested in any of these positions with the Peel board can register.
ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY TEACHING POSITIONS
Vacancies for both panels will be posted as they become available.
We strongly encourage you to monitor the VIP site on a daily basis for new postings.
NOTE:
- Do not un-apply to any job for which you have submitted an application unless you are absolutely sure you are no longer interested in that particular position.
- Once you have unapplied, your application will disappear from that job indicating that you no longer have an interest in that position.
You'll be able to apply electronically to the jobs posted on our website. This application process is free of charge! VIP will keep track of all the jobs to which you've applied, so you'll always have an up-to-date record.
When you apply for a job, your application will be sent electronically to the principal posting the job. The principal will then process the applications and make the contacts for interviews. Once the principal has made a recommendation for hire, staff in Human Resources schedule an appointment to sign on the successful candidate, and review the various salary and benefit packages.
Whether or not you're selected for an interview for a specific job, VIP will notify you when the job is filled.
