Peel board Maintenance Services donates $14,000 to school nutrition programs
On Saturday, September 21, 2013, Maintenance Services employees, contractors and suppliers participated in the tenth annual Grip It and Rip It Invitational Golf Tournament. Peel board trustees expressed its sincere appreciation to Maintenance Services for once again donating the proceeds from their annual golf tournament to provide $14,000 to support school nutrition programs. Since the inaugural Grip It and Rip It Invitational in 2003, Maintenance Services has donated over $125,000 to nutrition programs in Peel schools.
Trustees approve borrowing resolution for school board expenditures
Trustees enacted the borrowing resolution to meet the ongoing expenditures from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014 until the current revenue has been received.
Appointment to Special Education Advisory Committee
Trustees approved the appointment of Nancy Bratkovic as the representative for the Canadian Mental Health Association - Peel on the Special Education Advisory Committee.
