Trustees approved amendments to By-law D-5 and new By-law E-4, as follows:

Date and Time of Board Meetings – By-law D-5
The Board of Trustees will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 19:30 hours in the Board Office, unless otherwise ordered by the board, or unless such Tuesday shall be a statutory, public or civic holiday, or recognized religious observance day as determined when the schedule of Board meetings for the school year is approved, in which case the board shall meet at the same hour and place on a day agreed to by a majority of the board.

Dates of Committee Meetings – By-law E-4
Committees (Standing and Statutory) will meet according to an established schedule or otherwise agreed to by the Committee, unless such day shall be a statutory, public or civic holiday, or recognized religious observance day as determined when the schedule of meetings for the school year is set, in which case the Committee shall meet at the same hour and place on another day, as scheduled.

The recommended amendment to By-law D-5 and new By-law E-4 will align scheduling of meetings with current practice.
