Glenforest's "Green Team" is currently engaged in the Litter Not Program with the City of Mississauga. They also co-ordinate the recycling initiatives in the school, while encouraging all students to be wary of their ecological footprints, here and at home.

The Brick by Brick club at Fallingbrook supports Free the Children. During the 2006-07 school year they are raising funds to purchase animals for families living in rural villages in the developing world.

Brampton Centennial's Zonta Club is made up of a dedicated group of young people committed to making the world a better place. The club has been recognized by Zonta International by being presented with the Emma Conlon Award for service three years in a row.

The club address global issues such as child labour and poverty. Several fundraisers have been very successful, with donations going to Free the Children. The next fundraiser will sell candy kabobs with the goal of raising $700.00. Grade 6 and 8 students will also team up for a bake sale to raise additional funds.

The Global Youth Issues Club works to educate and involve our school and the community about global issues affecting youth. We also support young people in need by raising money along with other groups in our school like FLASH Leadership , Christian Fellowship, and the Culture Club) for international development projects including the World Vision 30 Hour Famine, Plan International Child Sponsorship, UNICEF Disaster Relief, Free the Children, and others.

PALS (Peer Assisting Leadership Students) sponsors a foster child in Zimbabwe and organize presentations in our school on Global Citzenship . We also contribute to local food banks and help out at school functions.
