GW Finlayson Field Centre

The GW Finlayson Field Centre has 194 acres of land on the south shore of Caledon Lake with Shaw’s Creek running through the middle of the property. The site, near Orangeville, is on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment.

Students can explore Class 1 wetlands including a bog, marshes, swamps, ponds and Shaw's Creek, mature softwood and hardwood forests, open fields, and areas that link them all together.

The GW Finlayson Field Centre is also home to the High and Low Challenge Courses. Overnight classes and an outdoor classroom are available when the weather is warm.
