Erindale Secondary School is a welcoming learning community. All students learn, share and grow in a safe community dedicated to mutual respect, personal fulfillment, individual success and academic excellence. Erindale students will be encouraged to be a part of the four “Pillars” of Erindale: Academics, Commitment, Mentoring and Community Involvement. Erindale graduates exemplify the positive character traits of honesty, integrity, caring, empathy, inclusion, responsibility, initiative, optimism, courage, respect, cooperation and perseverance. The students of Erindale graduate with the academic and personal integrity to be successful in their post-secondary endeavours.
At Erindale, staff believe in helping each student find success and experience a sense of achievement. The school’s aim is to provide a supportive environment for each student to achieve their full potential. Staff believe in reaching out to the community through parents, neighbours and business partners.
Erindale is one of the sites for the Secondary Regional Communications Program (LD). This is a support program for students identified with learning disabilities who require specialized learning and/or technological support.
Parents play an essential role in advocating for their teen, attending school functions to celebrate their teen’s success, assisting with learning, supporting the school’s discipline policy and pursuing active two-way communication between home and school.
