Port Credit Secondary School is located in south-east Mississauga, in the community of Port Credit. Established in 1919, Port Credit’s motto is “Lux Numquam Desit” – “May the Light Never Fail.”
Port Credit is a vibrant, exciting secondary school, in which intellectual curiosity, creativity and academic excellence are encouraged. Students take pride in personal achievement in various areas of school life and are expected to be responsible citizens of the school and community. Our school provides opportunities and support for students pursuing all pathways.
Port Credit is home to both the Regional Strings program and the Regional SciTech program. The Regional Strings program provides beginner and experienced courses for violin, viola, cello and string bass students, as well as orchestral and chamber strings experiences. The Regional SciTech program provides experiential learning in science and technology. Students at PCSS are provided the opportunity to participate in a Manufacturing Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM).
Port Credit Secondary School provides curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for a wide range of student abilities and student interests. These activities provide numerous student leadership opportunities throughout the year.
