Parkway Public School has served the Peel Village community in Brampton for close to 50 years. Our school has a warm, caring and welcoming atmosphere and has a reputation for providing high quality programs. Parkway’s mission is, “Nurturing a Caring and Competent Learner.”
At Parkway, we value people, learning and excellence. We also value respect, responsibility, collaboration, honesty, knowledge and student success.
In our school community, we are respectful and inclusive. We respect the differences that make each of us unique, and value individual’s ideas, beliefs, cultural backgrounds and learning styles in our events. These include our Heritage Month, Black History, Remembrance Day and Terry Fox activities.
Staff, students, parents and guardians work collaboratively at Parkway. We are guided by shared values and shared goals and strive to do our best at all times. We are a community of learners, and together we work to ensure positive educational experiences for all learners. These experiences include intramurals, play-days, concerts, book fairs, and our annual Spring Fair.
At Parkway, we believe that all students can be successful learners and productive citizens. We encourage each learner to succeed and support each learner to work at his/her full potential. We share the joys of learning daily. Ways we celebrate achievement and success include our smiles, conversations, class discussions, newsletters, parent conferences, PD sessions, school wide assemblies and events.
At Parkway we strive to provide learning opportunities with fun and excellence. Daily we do our very best to ensure a positive, caring, respectful, exciting and engaging school environment. We are committed to educating the mind and nurturing the heart.
We believe that when we work together we make good things happen for our school!
