Located north of Derry Road between Tenth and Ninth Lines, Kindree Public School is proud of its pioneer heritage. Opened in 2000, the school takes its name from the Welsh pioneer, Thomas Kindree, who emigrated to Ontario in 1764.
Kindree is an active member of the community. At Kindree, we believe that all children can learn and succeed. Together, we work to provide a safe and supportive environment where diversity is embraced and celebrated.
Through the Kindree C.A.R.E.S. character program (caring, acceptance, respect, excellence and safety) both students and staff foster lifelong learning and community values. Students are encouraged to learn through a variety of engaging experiences and new opportunities to explore our world. We celebrate individuals and what each one brings to our school family. We are “working with our community to build a better future.”
