Dolphin Sr. Public School is a middle school that is tucked away at the end of Brookside Drive in Streetsville. It has a diverse population with two enhanced learning classes, two ICOM classes and a GLD class.
Our Mission is, “Making a Difference for all Students.” We also value equity, diversity, inclusiveness and social justice and believe that all stakeholders should work in harmony with one other, respecting differences and ensuring that all students can succeed.
The academic success of all our students is our focus through the school success work in collaboration with our unit work, PDSB and the Ministry.
Dolphin Sr. offers a wide variety of leadership activities for students to become involved with. We have an active athletic council, The Me To We club, Step Up, lunch leaders (STUFFCO), French clubs and art clubs, to name a few. We are very involved in tournaments for flag football, basketball, hockey, baseball, badminton, soccer and many more.
Dolphin Sr. is proud of its junior and senior band. The junior and senior choir perform annually at Canada’s Wonderland and at our Winter and Spring Concerts.
Our school council is comprised of approximately 10 to 12 members who value the school success goals and work with us to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to succeed within a safe and positive environment.
The Dolphin Sr. community is always working on the Peel board character traits, ensuring that we always value character development. All stakeholders are committed to building rich relationships, indulging in collaboration and open communication so that we can uphold our moral obligation as educators to influence lifelong learners.
