Copeland Public School opened in 2009 and is a kindergarten to grade 5 French immersion school. Presently, 762 students attend our school. Our mission - to create a green community that invests in lifelong learning - is evidenced in our active school council, supportive school initiatives, student leadership opportunities and opportunities for parent involvement.
Our vision statement is, leading to success for all students, as lifelong learners. Through our students, we will inspire creativity, self belief, effort, learning, passion, responsibility, honesty, inclusiveness, respect, caring and co-operation.
Copeland boasts a variety of student activities and programs including junior cross country, running, Terry Fox Run, dodge ball, speed skating, choirs, Rocks and Rings program and Karate Kids. Our school council is active in bringing presenters to the school and supporting special programs like the Mad Scientist and All Star Reading.
