Brisdale Public School is a community of learners where staff, students and parents encourage academic excellence, a sense of belonging, respect, responsibility and acceptance. We are an inclusive community of learners, fostering a positive and caring environment. Students are offered support to develop a keen sense of citizenship and to achieve their full intellectual, physical and emotional potential.
Brisdale is committed to building positive community relations. Each Wednesday is “Walk To School Wednesday” and parents are invited into the school each month to share and discuss school-related initiatives. Our parent lending library and parenting workshops provide information to families on a variety of topics. We are extremely proud of our incredible array of extracurricular activities available and accessible to all our students, including: stack competitions, sports, rock/paper/scissors, dramatic performances, environmental teams, science clubs, choirs, musical performances, healthy school initiatives, annual winter holiday celebration, Spelling Bee events, and so much more! Brisdale continues to plan and grow as evidenced in our continual planting and renewal of our outdoor learning environment which promotes and encourages students to develop environmental awareness and appreciation.
