At Sheridan Park Public School we believe in fostering a sense of optimism and self worth in each, individual child. We deliver one curriculum in two languages of instruction. We believe that every stakeholder (staff, students and parents) can learn every day. We foster our three R’s consisting of respect, reflect and responsibility, and tie that to the Peel board’s character attributes of caring, cooperative, inclusive, honest, respectful and responsible.
We are unique in that we are an elementary school (kindergarten to grade 6) with a full orchestra. Our music program is enriching for all our students. Added to that are opportunities for athletics for our students. We provide extracurricular activities (teams and clubs) to foster growth in different areas of interest.
Sheridan Park is very fortunate to have excellent parent involvement through many valuable volunteers. From field trips to All Star reading coaches, our volunteers are an integral part of our school. Sheridan Park offers leadership opportunities for our students through morning on-line announcements, office helpers and bus patrollers, to name a few. We are also working on becoming a certified Ontario EcoSchool.
