Lorne Park Public School is a small, dynamic kindergarten to grade 5 school nestled in the Lorne Park community of southwest Mississauga, since 1923. Our students are on the path to being lifelong learners and wonderful citizens of their community and the world. We kick off every year with our Leading the Way conference which allows mixed grade groups to connect with the community in meaningful ways. This connection is maintained throughout the year.
Students are engaged in all aspects of school life through their involvement in the many clubs, leadership activities and sports offered by the dedicated staff of LPPS. Our choirs and bands move their audiences several times in the year. The focus of these activities is always respect, responsibility and safety, which are the three Bs of Lorne Park: Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful.
The staff and students are supported by the efforts of caring and involved families that volunteer their time to the school on a regular basis. This community approach to education is the foundation of a very successful school.
