Hillcrest Middle School has 55 years of history and a tradition of excellence in Mississauga.
We are a community school of grades 6, 7 and 8 English and French immersion students and are the regional home for students in the intermediate communication program.
At Hillcrest, we offer a positive, engaging learning environment that encourages students to grow both academically and as a community of responsible, respectful and caring individuals. We are an inclusive community that inspires lifelong learning, continuous improvement and CARE for self, others and our global community.
At Hillcrest, we are committed to promoting student excellence in academics, athletics and the arts and to the development of leadership and responsible citizenship in our students. We are preparing our students for a future in which the ability to think critically, to look at things from multiple perspectives and to work with others collaboratively are the keys to success.
Character education and daily, physical activity programs are embedded within our daily school timetable. Our goal is to develop in each student a deeper understanding of themselves and a greater awareness of others in our global community. Student leadership opportunities are greatly valued at Hillcrest. Social Justice fundraising initiatives, Student Government involvement, House League and DPA, as well as our many clubs, teams and activities, support student leadership and make our school a rich and inviting place to teach and to learn.
At Hillcrest, we CARE.
