Westacres Public School has a long tradition of excellence. Since the school was built in 1954, it has taken great pride in being very community oriented. The annual June fairs have continued on the first Saturday in June since 1954! In partnership with parents and students, staff are committed to academic excellence and building a strong sense of character within all students. Together, we teach each other to be lifelong learners and value high expectations for all students; form partnerships between students, their families and school staff; value open and honest communication and collaboration among staff, students, guardians and parents; and respect and accept each member of the learning community.
There are a variety of extracurricular activities that run throughout the school year. We are fortunate to have a Mississauga park in our backyard, which provides us with a beautiful green space for playing and learning.
