The Bristol Road Middle School community is a collaborative learning environment in which staff, students and parents strive to have all students meet or exceed provincial academic standards, develop positive citizenship skills and become independent learners. Presuming positive intentions, expecting social responsibility and recuperating through restorative practices moves beyond simple engagement to create a safe environment for risk. We do this by steadfastly adhering to our collective commitments to work together to provide our students with the academic and social experiences to facilitate learning. This will provide our students with the skills they need to be successful in their chosen endeavours.
Our school is a professional learning community where all members model the traits of continuously learning and leading; all aspects of school programming and operations exemplify a collaborative team approach and governance by distributive leadership to further the service model.
Our values include collaboration and teamwork between staff, students and parents; continuous learning and improvement; focused approach to student learning through prioritized school success goals and respectful actions and interactions by and between all members of the school community
Bristol is a lively and exciting middle school, with an extensive intramural athletics program, enhanced arts experiences in drama, dance and visual arts with stage shows, gallery walks and chances to participate in nationally recognized exhibits as well as specialty clubs.
