Literacy and numeracy tip sheets for parents
Make a difference in literacy and numeracy—practical ways parents can boost learning
On April 12, 2003, the Peel District School Board hosted its second annual parent conference. With over 700 parents attending, Make a difference in literacy and numeracy—practical ways parents can boost learning was a tremendous success again this year. The conference provided parents of children at all grade levels with useful tips to help their children be successful in school. Many parents found the tips they received from over 50 Peel educators valuable.
The following tip sheets will help extend this learning to parents of all Peel board schools. Choose from more than 35 tips sheets with practical, hand-on ideas for you to use to help boost your child's learning of literacy and numeracy skills. Feel free to share these tip sheets with other parents.
