Arts and Technology
The Arts and Technology program at Morning Star Middle School will open in September 2014. Students who are accepted into this interactive program will experience a comprehensive education in the arts and technology, while learning the Ontario curriculum. The program is intended to enable students to develop arts, media and technology skills, while engaging in cross-curricular inquiry-based learning opportunities.
Students will apply their creativity and discover solutions to real-world problems and issues in all areas of the curriculum. The program will provide students with the opportunity to be innovative and imaginative in their thinking while engaged in the creative and critical analysis processes, embracing social justice issues and promoting reflective learning.
Applicants—local and out-of-region
Our Regional Learning Choices Programs are open to all eligible students—see program information for details. Students who meet the criteria for acceptance to the programs and who live in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga will be offered spots first.
Students who meet the program criteria and who live outside of Peel Region will be offered spots once local student applicants have been accommodated. In some cases, all spots may be offered to students who live in Peel.
