Actively in Motion (AIM)
The Actively in Motion (AIM) program will open at Royal Orchard Middle School in September 2014. The program is intended to increase students' interests, skill development and active involvement in athletics, fitness, wellness, leadership and character development, student motivation and engagement in the learning process.
Other key features of AIM include:
daily physical education and fitness
- athletic and academic programming to meet students' needs, while learning the Ontario curriculum
focus on healthy eating, wellness and personal fitness
focus on enhancing athletic skills while achieving academic success
school and community involvement in co-curricular athletics to build athletic skills, develop leadership skills, character, and the ability to work as a team
career awareness and pathways
certification opportunities at each grade level
Applicants—local and out-of-region
Our Regional Learning Choices Programs are open to all eligible students—see program information for details. Students who meet the criteria for acceptance to the programs and who live in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga will be offered spots first.
Students who meet the program criteria and who live outside of Peel Region will be offered spots once local student applicants have been accommodated. In some cases, all spots may be offered to students who live in Peel.

Participation component of the application: Feb. 20 or Feb. 27, 2018 (applicants attend one), 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
First round acceptance offers issued: Apr. 9, 2018
Offers accepted: by no later than 4 p.m. on Apr. 19, 2018
Second round offers: Apr. 23, 2018
Second round offers accepted: by no later than 4 p.m. on Apr. 30, 2018
