Parent fact sheet: Getting to know special education programs and services
This fact sheet gives you an introduction and overview of the programs and services the Peel board offers, along with the general process we use to identify the students who need those programs.

A parent's guide to Identification, Placement and Review Committees
This award-winning brochure explains how we work with parents at all stages to identify a child as needing special education services, decide on an appropriate program for the child and review the child's ongoing learning needs.

Annual Accessibility Plan
The purpose of the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001 (ODA) is to improve opportunities for people with disabilities and to provide for their involvement in the identification, removal and prevention of barriers to their full participation in the life of the province. This plan (2005 - 2006) was prepared by the Accessibility Working Group of the Peel District School Board.

Accommodations for EQAO assessments
Students take provincial tests in grades 3, 6, 9 and 10. In these tests, special education students may be allowed some accommodations.
