Parents Boost Learning

logoConference helps parents 'make a difference in literacy and beyond'

 

The Peel board is hosting a one-day conference on Saturday, April 2, 2005 for parents of elementary and secondary school students in Peel. Make a difference in literacy and beyond -- practical ways parents can boost learning features sessions by leading experts who will provide helpful tips and ideas on supporting students in literacy and beyond at home.

The conference is now full!

This year's parent conference is now full. If you are a Peel board parent and would like to be added to the waiting list, please e-mail Alison Farbar at alison.farbar@peelsb.com or contact her by phone at 905-890-1010, ext. 2437. Please provide her with your name, the name of your child's school and your daytime phone number and she'll get back to you if space becomes available.

Event sponsors include: CIBC, Krispy Kreme, Kumon Canada, Rogers Cable and Rogers Wireless. The Make a difference in literacy and beyond conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Harold M. Brathwaite Secondary School, located at 415 Great Lakes Drive in Brampton.
