Peel student filmmakers will project their work onto the big screen at the 4th annual Peel Student Film Festival on May 22

Peel District School Board students in grades 9 to 12 will showcase their films at the 4th annual Peel Student Film Festival on May 22 at the Orion Gate Grande Cineplex Odeon Theatre in Brampton.

There will be six categories of films shown including:

  • animation
  • short film
  • commercial/public service announcement
  • experimental film
  • music video
  • news report/documentary.

Students will get a certificate of participation and receive feedback from film industry judges who have donated their time to the festival.

The Peel Student Film Festival empowers young artists to express their creativity, entertain audiences and share their visions. The festival is a celebration of youth culture, highlighted by the richness and diversity of a new generation of filmmakers.

Orion Gate Grande Cineplex Odeon Theatre is located at 20 Biscayne Cres. in Brampton.
