Castlebrooke Secondary School and Chinguacousy Secondary School students compete in the 2014 Provincial Robotics tournament

Castlebrooke Secondary School and Chinguacousy Secondary School recently participated in the 2014 Provincial Robotics event on Mar. 1 in St. Catharines. This was the first ever provincial tournament for Vex Robotics. The event was attended by 45 of the province’s top robotic teams. Castlebrooke’s team won the tournament and received the Judges Award, while Chinguacousy’s team were tournament finalists and won the Excellence Award.

Both schools have qualified to compete at the 2014 Vex World Championships in Anaheim, California at the end of April. This event will see 400 teams from across the world compete for the honour of being called world champions. Congratulations to both schools for their outstanding accomplishments!
