Students receive $1,000 scholarship for participation in HACE co-op program

The Peel District School Board partnered with the City of Brampton for a pilot project that would benefit students and businesses downtown Brampton. The Heritage, Arts, Creative and Entertainment (HACE) provides strategic direction, advisory support, and key decision-making on the HACE Downtown Creative Economy Plan 2011-2016. Students participated in a co-op placement with a local businesses that are part of the the HACE committee.

Students were required to use social media to document their experiences during the placement. To view the student's blogs, visit HACE Co-op Student Blogs located on the city's website. For successful completion of the placement, students were awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
