Taking place on International Women's Day, the event aims to encourage more young women to pursue careers in business and expose them to the wide range of business careers, female role models and business leaders. The half day event will welcome guest speakers, including City of Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie, Dragon's Den Claudia Harvey and Rachel Megitt, former chair of SheBiz Canada.

Inspired by the Women in Leadership case conference at Queen's University in November 2017, McAvoy says her hope is for young girls to walk away from the forum with increased confidence to set high goals for themselves.
