Peel native and former Mayfield Secondary School science and physical education teacher, Dave Greszczyszyn, will compete at the Winter Olympics skeleton competition in PyeongChang.
Greszczyszyn first tried the sport when he was 27 years old. It was then when he decided to pursue a professional career in skeleton. He moved to Calgary to train full-time and since then, he has competed in a number of worldwide competitions, including the Intercontinental Cup circuit, World Cup race, and World Championships.
The skeleton competition begins on Monday, Feb. 12 at 11:50 a.m. EST.
