Students from across the Region of Peel competed in the Peel Mock Trial Tournament which offers high school students the opportunity to experience practicing law in a mock trial setting. The competition aims to teach students how Canada's justice system works.
Harold M. Brathwaite placed first in the competition. The team will now compete in Guelph for regionals.
The other five finalist schools include Glenforest Secondary School, Sandalwood Heights Secondary School, Fletcher's Meadow Secondary School, Cardinal Ambrozic Catholic Secondary School and Safa and Marwa Islamic School.
