Tim Samaras, a severe storm researcher, engineer and explorer, will visit Tomken Road Middle School on Nov. 26 as part of the National Geographic Learning Opportunity. He will speak to Dixie Public School grade 5 students and Tomken grade 6, 7 and 8 students. Samaras has developed a probe that helps researchers understand and forecast tornados.
