Sir Isaac Brock Public School empowers girls at first 'Dove Girls Inspire Conference'

​The first Dove Girls Inspire Conference will be held on Thursday, Apr. 6.​​ at Sir Isaac Brock Public School. The purpose of the conference is to empower young girls by teaching strategies that help build confidence and self-esteem.

Girls from across the Peel District School Board in grades 5 and 6 will be participating in five scheduled workshops featuring CAMH, Peel Regional Police, Peel Health, Pink Ladoo Project and many more. Motivational speaker Sarah Westbrook will deliver a keynote about confidence and respect.

"We are excited to have a conference at our school for young girls who are facing peer pressure and pressure from social media to fit in", says Jay Sugunan, Principal at Sir Isaac Brock Public School. "The goal of this conference is to empower young girls by providing them with strategies that promote self-esteem and confidence".

Sir Isaac Brock Public School is located at 45 Meltwater Crescent in Brampton.
