On Nov. 8, Ridgewood Public School will introduce its new school program, The Leader In Me,
with a Multicultural Dinner Extravaganza
—a night of cultural food, music, friends and fantastic buys. Community members are invited to come out and learn about the program and how it is being used to nurture future leaders.
The night begins at 6 p.m. with a buffet-style dinner supplied by members of the Ridgewood community. Entertainment will be provided by students (Hip Hop Dance, Vocals, Afro Caribbean Dance, etc.) throughout the evening.
A silent auction will take place to raise funds to support Ridgewood’s Leader In Me
program, and the purchase of a roaming computer lab with Wi-Fi and document cameras for classroom use. A wide array of auction items will be available for bidding, including an autographed Raptors’ basketball, tickets to a Raptors’ game and a Keurig single serve coffee machine.
There will also be a meet and greet with Superintendent of Education Patrika Daws and Trustee Rick Williams.
