Students and staff at Corsair Public School will participate in the Students Helping Orphans in Africa with Relief (S.O.A.R.) initiative to help children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. This grass roots organization was developed by Peel parents to support the Stephen Lewis Foundation. To date, Peel schools have raised over $60,000 to help orphans in Africa affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Corsair invites other Peel schools to join the fundraising initiative by participating in: S.O.A.R. One Ribbon, One Day World Aids Day, Students S.O.A.R. Day, or creating an event of their own.
