The Woodlands history class campaigns for Rogers Centre to acknowledge aboriginal land before Blue Jays game
A grade 10 history class at The Woodlands Secondary School is using social media to campaign for the Toronto Blue Jays to recognize the traditional territory that the Rogers Centre stands on before the playing of national anthems. Students have reached out to community members and organizations and encouraged the community to use the hashtag #recognizetheland on Twitter.
