Peel schools robotics teams achieve excellence at FIRST Robotics World Championship

​FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams from Gordon Graydon Memorial and Rick Hansen secondary schools represented Peel at the FIRST Robotics World Championship, held from April 22 to 25, in St. Louis, Missouri. Gordon Graydon Memorial’s FRC Team 1325, Inverse Paradox, competed in the Carson Division, where they worked with teams from Israel, Michigan and New York to win the division and advance to the Einstein Finals. Meanwhile, Rick Hansen’s Team 1241, Theory 6, showed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship skills. Over 40,000 students, mentors and industry professionals were in attendance for the competition.​
