Applewood Heights Secondary School showcases talents to build school in Africa

Applewood Heights Secondary School will hold a talent show on Nov. 20 to raise funds to help build a school in Kenya. The event showcases singing, dancing, magic, juggling, pen spinning and drama acts.

For the past three years, the AppleLeaders—the school’s leadership program—has teamed up with charities Me to We and Free the Children as part of the Brick by Brick Campaign to Adopt a Village. Applewood has raised a total of $8,500 in four years, and surpassed this year’s goal of $2,000.
