Peel board wins big at Ontario Technology Skills Competition

The Peel District School Board received the Skills Work! School Board Award of Distinction for achieving the highest results at the Ontario Technology Skills Competition. Peel board students received 15 medals in technology and trades-based competitions against 1,900 students from across Ontario.

 

The schools listed below received medals for their demonstrated technology skills and knowledge:

 

Gold

  • Allan Drive Middle School (Technology)
  • Fletcher’s Meadow Secondary School (IT and Network Support)
  • Port Credit Secondary School (Virtual Robotics)
  • Tomken Road Middle School (Character Animation)

Silver

  • Camilla Road Middle School (Lego Robotics)
  • Fletcher’s Meadow Secondary School (Carpentry, Restaurant Service)
  • Port Credit Secondary School (Prepared Speech)

Bronze

  • Brampton Centennial Secondary School (2D Character Animation)
  • Calderstone Middle School (Character Animation)
  • Fletcher’s Meadow Secondary School (3D Character Animation)
  • Hillcrest Middle School (Lego Mechanics)
  • Port Credit Secondary School (Graphic Design – Presentation)
  • Tomken Road Middle School (Technology)
  • Turner Fenton Secondary School (Baking)
