Parents of Peel District School Board students will have the opportunity to attend one of 17 multilingual Making My Way sessions hosted at various schools between Feb. 7 to March 9. The two-hour sessions, conducted by trained We Welcome the World Centre settlement workers, will provide parents with valuable information to support their children when exploring post-secondary options.
“Parents will have the opportunity to explore career options and educational requirements for their children while obtaining relevant information regarding post-secondary opportunities,” says Nala Moorthy, Multicultural Settlement and Education Partnership facilitator. “These workshops will give parents the confidence to help their children make educated and focused decisions about their future.”
Parents of students in grade 6 to 12 are encouraged to attend. Session and registration information is as follows:

To register for a multilingual workshop, parents should contact the facilitator of their preferred language as listed in the chart above.
