More than 50 colleges, universities represented at fair
The third annual Post-Secondary Fair will take place on Nov. 22 at Cassie Campbell Community Centre for parents and students from Fletcher’s Meadow and Heart Lake secondary schools. Representatives from more than 50 colleges and universities will be available to answer questions about their schools, programs and financial aid.
“This event means a great deal to our community,” says Mary Nanavati, principal at Fletcher’s Meadow. “Students and parents look forward to this opportunity to meet with college and university representatives, have their questions answered and pick up useful information. This event is key to supporting post-secondary pathways for Fletcher’s Meadow and Heart Lake students.”
The event supports the Peel District School Board’s goal related to guidance and career education which is to educate students about pathways and post-secondary education options.
“We’re glad to partner with Fletcher’s Meadow to offer this wonderful experience for our students and families,” says Brian Landriault, principal at Heart Lake.
Cassie Campbell Community Centre
is located at 1050 Sandalwood Pkwy W. in Brampton. The event will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the first and second floors of the community centre. Families can drop by at any time during these hours.
