School attendants work part-time – two to four hours a day – usually beginning at 4 p.m. They are responsible for cleaning classrooms, washrooms and office areas in our school and office buildings. Candidates for this position should have cleaning experience and be physically able to meet the requirements of the job.
Normally, these positions are the entry level into the custodial/maintenance union. School attendants are hired through our casual staff or externally. They can then apply for any custodial or maintenance jobs that are posted internally.

Criminal Record Check
For the safety of students, successful candidates will be required to submit a satisfactory criminal record check prior to the commencement of any employment duties. Recent changes made by the RCMP have resulted in significant processing delays for some candidates. You may wish to start the process to obtain your criminal record check as soon as possible.
