International students have access to the same great programs and activities as Canadian students. This section provides an overview of student life.
The school day is from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Students attend three to four courses each day. Each course period is 75 minutes in length. Students also have access to a library for research and studying.
Before or after school, students can continue to practice English and develop new skills by participating in sports, music, drama and other clubs organized by staff volunteers.
The school year is from the beginning of September until the end of June. Students will take six to eight courses a year. The year is divided into two semesters, so students take three to four courses a semester. Evaluations and exams occur at the end of each semester.
All Peel board schools have wireless internet. Students are encourage to bring their own laptop or tablet to school. There are also desktop and laptop computers available for use at the school.
Textbooks are loaned to students for the duration of the courses.
Peel board schools have cafeterias that offer hot and cold meal options, snacks and beverages at a low cost to students.
