Board complies with new Ministry expenditure guidelines
The Ministry of Education has asked all Ontario school boards to review policies and procedures in key expenditure areas in light of new Ministry guidelines. The areas are use of corporate credit cards, travel, meals and hospitality, advertising and advocacy. The results of the review are to be made publicly available by March 31, 2007.
The Peel District School Board has completed the review and is already in compliance with the new guidelines. The board already had the policies and procedures in place including

Included is information on regional and specialized programs, night school classes and board and ministry policies related to secondary education.

After school and summer programs are available to help students in grades 7 to 10 improve their literacy and numeracy skills.
